Dua's for Patience, Perseverance
and Steadfastness
Verses in the Qur'an;
044.012 Rabbanā Akshif `Annā Al-`Adhāba
'Innā Mu'uminūna.
"Our Lord! remove the
Penalty from us, for we do really
believe!"
012.086 " Innamā 'Ashkū Baththī Wa Ĥuznī 'Ilá
Allāhi Wa 'A`lamu Mina Allāhi Mā Lā
Ta`lamūna.
"I only complain of my
distraction and anguish to ALLAH!
002.250. Rabbanā 'Afrigh `Alaynā Şabrāan
Wa Thabbit 'Aqdāmanā Wa Anşurnā
`Alá Al-Qawmi Al-Kāfirīna.
" Our Lord! Bestow on us
endurance and make our foothold
sure and give us help against those
who reject faith.
007.126 Rabbanā 'Afrigh `Alaynā Şabrāan
Wa Tawaffanā Muslimīna
Our Lord! Pour out on us
patience and constancy, and make
us die as those who have
surrendered themselves unto You.
016.127 Wa Aşbir Wa Mā Şabruka 'Illā Billāhi
Wa Lā Taĥzan `Alayhim Wa Lā
Taku Fī Đayqin Mimmā Yamkurūna.
"And do thou be patient, for
thy patience is but from ALLAH; nor
grieve over them: and distress not
thyself because of their plots.
Wa Aşbir Wa Mā Şabruka 'Illā Billāhi
Wa Lā Taĥzan `Alayhim Wa Lā
Taku Fī Đayqin Mimmā Yamkurūna
016.128 'Inna Allāha Ma`a Al-Ladhīna
Attaqaw Wa Al-Ladhīna Hum
Muĥsinūna.
"For ALLAH is with those
who restrain themselves, and those
who do good.
'Inna Allāha Ma`a Al-Ladhīna
Attaqaw Wa Al-Ladhīna Hum
Muĥsinūna
017.096 Qul Kafá Billāhi Shahīdāan Baynī
Wa Baynakum 'Innahu Kāna
Bi`ibādihi Khabīrāan Başīrāan.
Say: "Enough is ALLAH for
a witness between me and you: for
He is well acquainted with His
servants, and He sees (all things).

Wa Baynakum 'Innahu Kāna
Bi`ibādihi Khabīrāan Başīrāan

Allāhi Wa Qad Hadānā Subulanā
Wa Lanaşbiranna `Alá Mā
'Ādhaytumūnā Wa `Alá Allāhi
Falyatawakkali Al-Mutawakkilūna .
"No reason have we why
we should not put our trust on
ALLAH. Indeed He Has guided us to
the Ways we (follow). We shall
certainly bear with patience all the
hurt you may cause us. For those
who put their trust should put their
trust on ALLAH."
