Something really great I have come across in these aluhaajiroon brothers is that they have a lot of zeal for the deen of Allaah subhaanah. They would do anything for the sake of the deen of Allaah, and I mean literally anything, ma shaa'Allaah. Some of the main brothers who were in the protest are brothers I have talked to personally and even engaged in a heated debate, and I can testify that they are very sincere brothers ma shaa'Allaah. But for an action to be accepted not only is sincerety required but also the fact that the action is in accordance with the way of the Messenger of Allaah :saw2:

We hope as Ibn Taymiyyah rahimahullaah hoped, that these brothers are rewarded by Allaah for their intentions. As He, rahimahullaah said:

وأكثر هؤلاء الذين تجدهم حراصًا على أمثال هذه البدع ، مع ما لهم من حسن القصد ، والاجتهاد الذين يرجى لهم بهما المثوبة ، تجدهم فاترين في أمر الرسول

"...Whereas the majority of those whom you find enthusiastic to implement such innovations as what we have discussed – despite what they may have of good intentions and ijtihaad, and it is hoped that Allah will reward them for these two (intention and ijtihaad) – yet you generally find them weak and apathetic in regards to adhering to the instructions of the Messenger :)saw2:) …”

BarakAllaahu feekum

Wa salaamu 'alaykkum

Wa feeka baarak Allaah.

True, they do have these zeal for the deen but they call for shari'ah, which I don't get. How can shar'iah be implemented in a non-Muslim country, when the Muslim countries don't implement it themselves? And how could a non-Muslim government rule over shari'ah?

I watched the video. Next time, if they really want to be intimidating, they should do something like this from across the street lol:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zmM7QeoCP1Y&feature=related (with the black outfit, perhaps with pants though).
(Note: the haka isn't anything religious (for those that don't know), it was to pump up the Maori fighters before a war and intimidate the enemy. About 200 fighters doing the haka in sync would be a sight to see).

:wasalam:

O_O LOOL.

With regards to the event whose venue was cancelled, alhamdulillaah the brothers have confirmed another venue, and the brothers were advised by the people of knowledge that this event has to go on, and in shaa' Allaah will go on. It was a bit strange that the Muslim councilor of Tower hamlets, Helaal 'Abbaas, called these brothers extreme, and compared them to the EDL. EDL now claims victory that they have stopped the event, and have officially announced a demonstration at the Zakir Naik's event. A brother helping out Al khair (the brothers bringing down zakir naik) have said that the EDL have rented out some place next to the wembley arena so as to create fuss. The brothers at Al-Khair are going through a lot of pressure at the moment.

Wa salaamu 'alaykkum

Ah, so the councilors considered DR Zakir naiks event "extreme". Incidentally, someone was forwarding an array of text messages with Helal Abbas`s number. ;)

Shaykh Haytham Al Haddad is talking about this live now on tv. If you have Sky, it's on 826 and finishes at 8.30pm.

Jazakumullaahu khayran.

:salam2:

-The EDL threatened the organisers of the event and said they are going to run a big march towards that area.

- One of the main people of the council of Tower Hamlets wrote a statement where he said that the EDL is an extremeist group and the Muslim organisers of the event are extreme or as extreme as the EDL. He (Helal 'Abbas) influenced the council to cancel the venue.

- Young Muslim brothers are exchanging emails and are trying to defend the brothers of the event, but we don’t want a clash, if they want to demonstrate, it should be peaceful etc.

- Muslim brothers are not cowards and can defend themselves but we don’t want backlash etc. but if we need to defend ourselves, the brothers are ready to defend themselves.

- More ppl are coming so they’re getting a bigger venue.

- Alhamdulillaah, sometimes we hate something and Allaah jalla wa ’alaa brings khayr out of it. The affairs of the Muslims are good inshaAllaah.

- The EDL want to create problems for muslims. They hate islam and Muslims.

- S. Haytham asked a rhetorical question. I remember he said something like, "If they want an intellectual debate..." I didn't get the rest but I think he was trying to say that the EDL are not serious to have a intellectual debate, rather, they just want to cause fitna.

- If they just want to kick Muslims from Britain, the law won’t allow it and the Muslims won’t allow etc.

- Many people say that EDL are just fascists and want to create violence, threaten Muslims, for the Muslims to be afraid and stop arranging events, that is their aim.

- Rumours that event will be cancelled of the al khair event but it’s still going on.

- It's our civil right to conduct events.

- Anti-Islam people who appose Islam are increasing.

- The duty as Muslims is the main focus role. Cancellation of the event in the hall and re-locating it alhamdulilaah brought the Muslims together. Many Muslim organisations came together.

- Islamic Forum of Europe, LMC, Hizb ut Tahrir, ELM, Islam Channel, even Sufi’s supported the brothers and even Barelvis showed their solidarity of the organisers of the event.

- When Muslims are attacked, we come together but doesn’t mean just when we get attacked, we should come togther. Even though we have different views, we still have more things in common than what disunites us. This was manifested clearly in the event. This shows that Muslims irrespective of the methodology they follow, have allegiance towards Allaah and His messenger, also feel allegiance to Muslims.

- Muslims are allegiance of each other and that was manifested clearly in the recent events.

- We should be united more. Yeh, we have differences, but we as Muslims, we may call each other kaafir but this should be between us. Even if some people refuse to pray behind me (S. Haytham), that is ok because that will never stop. But we should keep this between ourselves. The outsiders, non-Muslims should look towards us as one ummah. Countless ayaat speak of this. The Muslim are brothers of Muslim. The Prophet :saw2: gave the example that the Muslims are one body, all of us know this so why don’t we invest on those ayaat and hadeeth?

^ Didn't watch all of it and that's what I got. So his main message was about unity and how we should stand together and support one another. May Allaah bless and protect Shaykh Haytham, ameen.

Assalaamu'alaykum.

Just for the benefit of brothers and sisters, the edl found out where the new venue is and they're coming tomorrow. So keep your family and friends safe with you.

Fee amaanillaah.
