FOr those of you who read Qu'ran in English, what "version" or translation of the Qur'an do you have? I hear people talk about different translations, but where do you tell which is which (and does it make a big difference)?
This is what mine says on the front cover:
The Holy Qur'an: English translation of the meanings and Comentary"
And on the inside title page it says:
"The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd Ibn Abdul Aziz Al-Saud King of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Has the Honour To Order the Printing of this Holy Qur'an and the Translation of Its meanings and commentary."
Then the second "title page" it says:
"Mushaf Al-Madinah An-Nabawiyah
Revised and Edited by
THE PRESIDENCY OF ISLAMIC RESEARCHERS, IFTA, CALL AND GUIDANCE"
The book doesn't have an actual information page (like it doesn't say anywhere when it was published) like American books have.
