A Mu'minah Wannabe!
Assalam Alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakaatuhu sisters and brothers!
We, being a Muslim Ummah and followers of the Holy Quran, believe in the existence (more like, co-existence) of djinn in the universe! I've heard countless stories of possession by djinn or help by them. We have an entire Surah in The Holy Quran regarding their presence, so it would be mere stupidity or ignorance to say one does not believe in it!
Anyway, coming to my purpose of starting the thread, I'd like to know of any encounters you or any one you know have had with them. Personally, I feel encounters with djinn are more of a rare occurrence because Allah SWT has covered them with this invisible curtain that only allows them to see us and not the vice versa. The word djinn literally means to cover or to conceal but every now and then, they like to make us aware of their presence. Therefore, if there are any stories you can share, please go ahead!
