I was wondering if any of you guys could give me the expectations of a muslim woman. My husband is muslim and i am not but i would like to learn for the sake of him. I might not be muslim but my husband is and I want to live a long happy life with him for he is a very good man. Thank you in advance for all information that i can get.

I was wondering if any of you guys could give me the expectations of a muslim woman. My husband is muslim and i am not but i would like to learn for the sake of him. I might not be muslim but my husband is and I want to live a long happy life with him for he is a very good man. Thank you in advance for all information that i can get.

Islam teaches us to be humble. We are to be grateful at all times. We need patience. We need to learn not to complain. We need to understand that the realtionship between man and wife is private. We are better if we refrain from asking too much. We need to understand that a spouse is a gift..therefore we need to cherish our realtionship.

I think that Allah SWT does things for a reason. I think if you become a Muslim that would make your husband happier than anything in the world. Your husbands religion should be the thing he cherishes most in his life if he is a Muslim. I think if you found Islam in your heart it would bring you and him closer than ever. Being that he is the Muslim in your life once you take shahada he would be the one to teach you and increase your knowledge in Islam. Islam is very detailed and has knowledge that you can learn until the day you die. So that would mean you and him would spend lots of time together learning and growing stronger. Just imagine how close you would grow to him and Allah SWT. I believe you are on your way to Islam and inashallah you become a Muslim. That would be soooooo beautiful sister.
