Alhamdulilah i just came back from a Slaughter house in Qatar and it was very quick and clean (although abit smelly), they even had people to monitor the welbeing of the animals being slaughtered and also to see if protocols were being followed.

I watched for about 5 or 6 seconds before I quit. Yes this is typically how it is done. Although if you're asking if this is how halal food gets to the table, probably not, as it clearly brings unnecessary harm to the animals before slaughtering them. This isn't how they were meant to be killed.

There are many documentaries like this incidentally these are the same people who are against halaal slaughtering and look at the way they treat animal we are not allowed to harm the animal in the process of slaughtering it.

That was disturbing.. poor little things. Alhamdulillah for halaal slaughtering.

True. Like PETA.. they come up with the most ridiculous accusations against halaal slaughtering.

I asked one Chinese revert whether did he consumed pork before his reversion. He said yes but he stopped long before he reverted. I asked for reason, he said once he went to the pig farm and saw pigs were not slaughtered but beaten to death. Since then he stopped eating. He took video and showed it to his mom (remain non Muslim until now) and his mom too had stopped eating but for a while, at least not often like before.

I proud to be Muslim, just two weeks ago I learned how to slaughter animals. We did practical class, slaughtered about 30 chickens and 2 goats. I was wondering at that time whether we did any harm to those animals? Now I'm clear after seeing this video couple of videos on youtube.

I didn't watch any of these, I don't want to see them, but thanks for posting them and Jazakallah khayran for the advisory warning. I have been vegatarian off and on for most of my adult life and I'm losing my appetite for meat again.

I understood for meat to be zabiha, it's not just the method of slaughter, but the animal must have a good quality of life too. In my opinion, the quality of life of food animals in this country is far from ideal. I don't know enough about where Halal butchers source their animals. I've been telling myself there's some happy farms out there where muslims raise animals, but I'm beginning to suspect, animals for Halal slaughter are redirected in the food chain much later. Can anyone enlighten me?

Sorry if I'm sounding like an animal rights radicalist, this is just stuff that is on my mind right now

Nah, I think you're fine. As Muslims Allah (SWT) has Mercifully allowed us to eat animals but under the condition that they are halal, so we keep in mind Who is giving us the food to eat. If you choose not to eat animals, that is your choice. In a way, your life is easier because you don't have to constantly worry if the meat you bought is halal or if their are XYZ products in what you are eating because you avoid meat entirely.

It depends on your intention, nothing wrong being a vegetarian as long as the food you eat can give you necessary nutrients. If you doubt on the source of the animals, my sheikh encourage buying life animal e.g. chicken and feed it with 100% corn or wheat for at least 7 days before you slaughter for meat. Especially if you are buying this animal reared by non muslim because you will not know what they feed the animals.

People of all faiths and cultures commit great cruelty to animals. This is evil. Much love and respect should be given to those who die so that we can live.

I cannot view this video for some reason but I will tell you now : Non-Halal meat is evil. The way the kufr treat these animals...its horrendous. DO NOT EVEN EAT AN EGG IF ITS UNORGANIC! Because chickens that are non-organic are pumped full of hormones and are egg machines. They generally collapse from pure exhaustion in a year or less.

And about un-Halal meat, the animal is RARELY dead before it hits the meat grinder. Many of the men wear ear plugs to drown the sound of the animal screaming in pain out. I dont want to disgust anyone or scare anyone, but its just.........horrendous. Astaghfirallah. Before being Muslim I was strictly vegetarian because I did not know of a better option.

It kills me how the Kufr say our way of killing animals wrong when its fast and clean and killed in the name of the one who Created them. They eat an animal which died in agony, ours died in respect.
