BismiAllah Al Rahmaan Al Raheem In The name of Allah, The most Mercyfull, The most Compassionate
All Praise be due to Allah Only and may Allahs peace and blessings be upon His Last Messanger Mohammed sallahu alayha wa saalam, his family, his Sahabahs r.a. and all those who foloow their footsteps untill Day of Judgment.
The base of the word taqwa is to make barrier between yourselfe and that what you are afraid of. In the Islamic termin the word “ Taqwa” is refering on the Servant who is putting barrier for himselfe from sins which will couse the anger and the punishment of Allah subhan wa teala.
This shield is painted in obedience to Allah subhan wa teala, staying away from things that He has forbideen and fulling His commands. Some Salaafi students define this word as: "Acting in obedience to Allah, to His light-guide and the abandonment of sin going for his light-guide."
Abdullah ibn Masud commenting on Allaah words: "Fear Allah as you should be afraid.", he sais that you should obey to Allah,and not do oposite of that, that you should remember Him and not forget Him, that you should be thanfull to Him and not unthankfull for His blessings. In gracefullness fall in ibaadah, and in remembence the concience of Allahs orders and prohibitions.
„This is the Book (the Qur'an), whereof there is no doubt, a guidance to those who are Al-Muttaqun [the pious and righteous persons who fear Allah much (abstain from all kinds of sins and evil deeds which He has forbidden) and love Allah much (perform all kinds of good deeds which He has ordained)“ ( Surah Al baqaarah, ayah 2)
„No doubt! Verily, the Auliya' of Allah [i.e. those who believe in the Oneness of Allah and fear Allah much (abstain from all kinds of sins and evil deeds which he has forbidden), and love Allah much (perform all kinds of good deeds which He has ordained)], no fear shall come upon them nor shall they grieve .Those who believed (in the Oneness of Allah - Islamic Monotheism), and used to fear Allah much (by abstaining from evil deeds and sins and by doing righteous deeds).“ ( Surah Yunus, ayah 122-124)
„Truly, Allâh is with those who fear Him (keep their duty unto Him) , and those who are Muhsinûn (good-doers)“ ( Surah An Nahl, ayah 128)
O you who believe! If you obey and fear Allah, He will grant you Furqan a criterion [(to judge between right and wrong), or (Makhraj, i.e. making a way for you to get out from every difficulty)], and will expiate for you your sins, and forgive you, and Allah is the Owner of the Great Bounty.) Surah Al Anfal, ayah 29)
„That is the Command of Allah, which He has sent down to you, and whosoever fears Allah and keeps his duty to Him, He will remit his sins from him, and will enlarge his reward“ ( Surah Talq, ayah 5)
„O you who believe! Be afraid of Allah and give up what remains (due to you) from Riba (usury) (from now onward), if you are (really) believers.“ ( Surah Al Baqaarah, ayah 273)
„And whosoever fears Allah and keeps his duty to Him, He will make a way for him to get out (from every difficulty).“ ( Surah Talaq, ayah 2)
„....And whosoever fears Allah and keeps his duty to Him, He will remit his sins from him, and will enlarge his reward.“ ( Surah Talaq, ayah 5)
„Enjoy what you have gotten of booty in war, lawful and good, and be afraid of Allah. Certainly, Allah is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.“ ( Surah Al Anfaal, ayah 69)
"Verily, for the Muttaqun (pious and righteous persons) are Gardens of delight (Paradise) with their Lord" ( Surah Al Qalam, ayah 34)
