It depends on what kind of a career you want to have. Johnson & Wales is primarily known as a culinary art school. Do you see yourself as a chef in a couple of years? I think you should look at the job market in your area, booming industries right now are accounting, finance, and IT, and of course you can't go wrong with law & doctor either.

I know that Browns College is very competitive and well-known, you should try to get your foot in there door.

That is pretty good too, but just as a general rule of thumb, people still make generalization about a school for what they are primarily known for. Do you know what I mean?

For example, if it's known as a culinary art school and you apply to a business position job vs. someone who went to like Wharton or University of Rhode Island, which to many are known as business schools - who has a better chance of getting that job? Try to get into the school with the best marketing programs or whatever you want to study or at least somewhere similar to your study. Inshallah just do some research on the internet or at your career center and see if you like where you are and where you are going. This is just a suggestion, and you probably need to take into account your financial status, family, etc too.
