Asalamualaykum,
I was wondering if it's allowed to make istikhara for somebody else? Like if my sister wanted to marry somebody cud I make the istikhara for her?

Istikhara prayer is meant for each one of us to show full dependency on Allah..

To make Istikhara prayer is like asking Allah guidance to something you intend to do and to make it possible and easily done as long as its for our own benefit, Not what others intend to do.

We do many things in our lives based on what we think is for our best, But later may turn out to be bad for us.. Thats why we pray Istikhara.
