Roses are red, violets are blue
I'm fasting today, I hope you are too
Make sure that your deeds have the best of intention
That way you'll rise up through divine intervention
Do more than the norm, when you pray and you learn
It's paradise y'know, the prize that we yearn
I know sometimes your stomach can yell
But don't go sneaking food, or you'll surely see hell
Now, I don't mean to burst your bubble
But around this time, there are muslims in trouble
The one's who only pray, when Ramadan comes
And they think that their deeds will add up in sums....
NO!!!
If you're only a good muslim when it's time to fast
Then your dream of jannah, unfortunately won't last
Your deeds won't get looked at if on earth you hadn't prayed
And so it'll only be your sins that'll be weighed
Yes, the salat must be in order, for Allah to tell
Who will be judged, and who goes straight to hell
If you're a 'Ramadan Muslim', you'll see the snarling snake's venom
And unfortunately, you'll drink some, when dwelling in Jahannum
You can't trick Allah, for Allah is all knowing
Is time to pray yet? If so, you'd best get going
I think I've spoken enough, so this I must say:
