an old lady is seen using a counter and, when asked, she says she plans to recite durood and shahada 100,000 times each before she dies...
he questions where she got this number from and she doesn't tell him any source (probably got it from a friend).
she then tries to soften the issue by saying 100,000 is just a base target and she will probably continue reading after this.
the question is: how much of a bid'at is this and how strongly should it be condemned if at all? Bearing in mind all the etiquettes of nasihah of course.
