how to encourage husband to save money

assalamualikum everyone.i would like to have some suggestions from you about encouraging my husband to save money.he said money is not everything in life.yes it's true yet we need some savings for future.how can i save some of his money?

This guy is the savings/debt removal guru! http://www.daveramsey.com/ He even tells people not to spend money on his books but to check them out from the library if possible. He also does free lectures and you can listen to them from his website on a podcast. He is very pragmatic and down to earth, explaining step by step how to get rid of your debt and also build a savings.
