Stand facing Kaabah, prepare mentally and emotionally that you are in front of Allah. Then make Niat (intention).To do so say it in your heart: "I intend to make a Niat (example: 4 rakaah Asr prayer) for Allah, facing Kaabah. Allah-hu-akbar."
Say "Bismillah hirahma niraheem". Recite Surah Al- Fathiha
Recite a surah of your choice, other than Al-Fathiha or any Dua.
Do a Ruku while saying "Allahhuakhbar".
Ruku is done by keeping your knees straight while bending your back (at about 90 degrees), put your hands on your knees and say "Subhana Rabial aazeemi wabihamdih" 3 times.
Then stand up straight. Say "Sami'a-llahu liman hamidah", meaning 'God hears those who give thinks to Him' and immediately add "Rabbana laka-lhamd" - 'Grateful praise to You, our Lord!'
Go down on your knees and bend down so your forehead and nose touches the ground and your hands close to your ears.
Say "Subhana Rabial a'la wabihamdih" 3x.
Stay on your knees but bring your upper body up as in sitting down.
Repeat step 9-11.
Stand straight up.
Repeat from step 4 - 13.
You are done if you were doing 2 Sunnah, 2 fard. Otherwise, repeat step 14, but don't recite any surah.
You are done if you were doing 3 fard. Other wise, repeat step 15.
