The best gift a parent can give a child is Islam, and the best gift a child could accept from their parents is Islam. If this is established then protection is guaranteed. When a Muslim gets something good he/she has to thank Allah, and if a Muslim is facing hardship he/she still has to thank Allah because it may be an expiation for our sins. Protection is with Allah alone. If all the man and jinn got together to harm us, they can only do what Allah most high has decreed for us (nothing more), and if all the man and jinn came together to benefit us they cannot benefit us more than Allah most high has decreed for us.
