:salam2: just wanted to share with you a real incident. my language arts teacher asked us to write a topic sentence. so we were supposed to use the phrase "in war no side really wins", i used it saying "in war no side really wins because it brings hatred upon mankind". something like that. so my teacher says: can i make a suggestion?
me: sure
teacher: it's my personal opinion, could you use humankind instead of mankind...i'm tired of stinking man, they think they rule everything.not that i have anything against men. hahaha me: uh....ok, sure
teacher: thanks
my point here is many women think that by getting rid of words that have the word man in it that man will stop doing what they do. no! they wont. by the way have you noticed that the word woman/women includes the word man/men or the word freshmen includes men, or the word humankind includes man in there. some men are stupid and so on, but man are not all the same, we women have responsibilities different then theirs. we are EQUAL, NOT IDENTICAL. anyways salam. Lol.
