I wanna become religious but how?

Salaam alaikum,

You ever got that feeling where you wanna do something but don't know where or how to start? Or something stops you *cough cough e.g. shaytan* :angryred:

Yeah.... I got those feelings.

Can anyone inshaAllah gimme tips on how to keep steadfast of the deen?

dear sister i had same feelings a month ago but i started offer prayers with full devotion.. before that i offered prayers but my attention diverted in every salah.. now have overcome this problem. and sister as Allah swt said in quran
"Verily, As-Salat (the prayer) prevents from Al-Fahsha' (i.e., great sins of every kind, unlawful sexual intercourse) and Al-Munkar (i.e., disbelief, polytheism, and every kind of evil, wicked deed).'' (29:45)
i will advise you to say prayers with full devotion. Inshaa Allah He will help you come out of this situation..May Allah swt bless all of us with glory..Ameen

JazakAllah khairan sister for your quick reply I really needed it judging what you replied since I need to pray maghrib at this very second !
Trust me it's so hard to focus but I will inshaAllah try hard because it's always for the best. I'm going to search how to focus in salah on this forum inshaAllah most likely I'll find something, many tips on TTI mashaAllah.

You can enrol in religious class
near your mosque or religious council.

Listen to qur'an recitation
and understand them well.
Example: YouTube and countless Islamic website.

~Making du'a daily without miss
asking Allah swt to guide you,
keep you safe and
help you always.
