Well:

1. Vocabulary:
for nouns: the singular nominative, plural nominative, genitive singular, and genitive plural.
for verbs....I don't know yet.

I found this on the Deutsche-Welle ebsite in Bosnian and I found the Google translation to this sentence:

Optuženim komunistima izrečene su visoke zatvorske kazne.

is:

The accused communists imposed high prison sentences

What I want to ask is:
1. Why 'Optuženim komunistima' not 'Optuženi komunisti',
2. Why 'izrečene su' not 'izrečeni su',
and,
3. Is it 'visoke zatvorske kazne' because it is the object and is plural?
