Good job sis! MashaAllaah... Even with a supportive family Niqaab is sometimes a very hard thing when the rest of the extended family dont believe in it, or prefer culture over Deen. But keep ya chin up and keep going inshaAllaah... learn what to say in response so it's not so difficult, and remember to give all the haters a positive face to show just because we choose to cover doesn't mean we're worse off, but rather we love to do it. =)
These types of things also bring up memories of the first time I wore niqaab to my relatives houses and they were gobsmacked... and this previous year when the first time I wore it to Bangladesh and all my relatives were confronted with a new me, and weren't quite sure how to react lol
