Think about it, there are some scholars who happen to be doctors/medical student who have memorized the Qur'an, masha Allah. If you've studied college biology, you'll know that to be a doctor, or have some form of occupation in the medical field, you have to memorize and understand A LOT of stuff. And I mean A LOT.For instance, even the number of names of bones to memorize is extremely overwhelming, and since a doctor can't make mistakes or the patient may perish, they need to KNOW what they memorize.
......but yet they still have space in their brain to memorize the entire Qur'an, and some are even multilingual......and they're still considered to be using only about 10% of their brain power.
Our brains can hold a LOT more stuff than we give it credit for. I mean, I once read that the average human brain's power when converted to gigabytes was....I dunno, 100 terabytes? terabytes (Those who use computers a lot might get that rough measure more) That's a lot.
Now yeah, yeah, people say we use more than 10% of our brains, it's just a myth and and what not, but even using 100% of our brain = an astronomical amount of memory stored. And children have been proven to have a huge memory capacity, both in reading and memorizing things to solving mathematical problems and scientific concepts... So.........why haven't more people memorized the Qur'an again?
There's no better time to start than now.
