Its all a bunch of gobbledegook, nonsense -- to keep people psychologically thinking they are unable to have true control or direction to their lives or that of society as a whole.
I think it is sad, that Muslims may believe in these things. Do people have secret meetings? or are part of strange cult like secret organisations? Yes. Do the freemasons exist? Yes..
But...... do they have the power that they want people to believe they have? NO. They have no real power. We can always upset the balance, always take charge of our destinies, to break free from shackles of tyranny and oppression, whether it is physical, financial or social.
Information found via Google, youtube, wikipedia, news sites will all be full of things that are all there to make you believe in something that is in reality just a bunch of people trying their best to retain control over people by invoking the fear, by creating these barriers where they are supposedly on a different level. That they are untouchable, unable to be taken away - That change is something almost impossible.
The biggest extreme of which is from people like David Icke who say that all the world leaders are actually Lizards from outerspace... that people are always under mind control... and people believe this
You know, things be fine when we as Muslims start implementing each part of our deen in our lives... Not just a select few things on an occassional basis, or whenever it suits us.. Its not just about praying or saying/doing things which helps us to remain in a clique, as some brothers and sisters unfortunately do. It is when we start acting properly with each other, when we stop being selfish, to give our time and love to those around us - How many times do people, Muslims ask one another if there is anything they could do to help them? Or to ask if something is wrong? - Is it really done from the heart? or is it so that a person can get something they personally want?
Selfishness, ignorance, corruption these are things we must eradicate from the Ummah. Thats the problem and it stems from lack of Imaan. When people do not trust in Allah or know Allah's great position in their lives. If the Muslims were united upon the Quran and Sunnah, they would be able to stand up for themselves and help each other and grow stronger.
