Ustādh Shakeel Aḥmed
Ustādh Shakeel has been attending the Greensville Trust’s Micro-Madrasa program since 2007, studying a number of subjects including spirituality, theology and shama’il under Shaykh Ibrahīm Osi-Efa. He has also studied Hanafi jurisprudence under the likes of Shaykh Haroon Hanīf and ShaykhTalāl al-Azem. Ustādh Shakeel has been exceptionally blessed to spend time in the company of al-ḤabībʿUmar b. Ḥafīẓ, Dr ‘Umar Farūq‘Abd-Allāh, Shaykh ‘Abdu’r-Raḥmān OuldMurābiṭ al-Ḥāj, al-Ḥabīb Kāẓim as-Saqqāf andal-Shaykh ‘Umar Husain al-Khaṭīb.He studied Multimedia Journalism with Business Management and IT at the University of Manchester, graduating in 2003, and is self-employed as a scriptwriter.
