Al Salam alaikom.This is Hassana, an Egyptian female muslim. I'm so glad to become a member of your community and hope i can both benefit from , and be of benefit to ,this website. Well, i'd like to remind myself and all my brothers and sisters in islam of the importance of having an intention before doing any acts.I mean we should all have the intention that whatever act we're doing, it should be mainly to make Allah pleased with us. For instance, we all brush our teeth or use "sewak"first thing in the morning. If we do that bearing in mind that it's a "sunnah" , then we'll be rewarded for it. We all clip our nails some time during the week, but again , if we remember that our Prophet (Peace be upon him ) used to do that on Friday before Salat Al Joma'a( Friday prayer ), you'll have this addded to your good deeds.There are so many examples: saying "Besmellah"( in the name of Allah) before any act such as eating , drinking ,etc..will inshallah turn that act from a habitual act to some act of worship for which you are rewarded. Just remember this before doing anything or at least ask Allah at the beginning of the day to make all your acts purely directed to please Him. Hope to hear from you.
