Is the islam the religion?

hello people

I need someone to help me i went to prison for 15 years for rape and other criminal things and i dont know i went out from prison new i want someone to help me to show me the right guide because i feel christianity doesnt help me alot i dont believe in jesus and he is not son of god i guess because he didnt help at all now i am atheist i dont know if its the right choice

Hello,

In Islam we do believe in Jesus (Peace be upon him) He was a messenger of Allah (Arabic for God). He was not crucified but it was made to appear to them that he was. We do not believe he is the son of God. When someone comes into Islam Allah wipes away all their sin just like they were a new born baby. People do change. My brother is now in Prison and I pray that he can change his ways Insh'Allah.

Islam is a beautiful way of life and not just a religion. I came to Islam 2 years ago, and I can tell you that it has changed my life and I will be forever thankful. Please feel free to ask any questions. May Allah (SWT) guide you. :tti_sister:
