Joining of Two Securities
The Messenger of Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “Allah says, ‘By My Glory and Majesty, I will not give My slave two securities or two terrors. If he feels safe from Me in the world, I will cause him to feel afraid on the Day when I gather My slaves together, and if he fears Me in the world, I will make him feel safe on the Day when I gather My slaves together.’” [Abu Na’eem in Al-Hilyah]
One group of the slaves of Allah will not be terrified when the others are terrified on the Day of Resurrection. And they will not be grieved when people grieve on the Day of Judgement. They are the Awliya (close friends) of the Most Merciful who believed in Allah and strove to obey and worship Him in preparation for that Day. So Allah (subhana wa ta’ala) will keep them safe on that Day. When they are resurrected from their graves, they will be met by the angels of the Most Merciful who will calm them down and reassure them.
Thus, those who feared Allah’s punishment in the world will not feel afraid on the Day of Judgement. But those who felt secure in their sin and disobedience will be terrified on the Day of Judgement.

The more sincere a person is towards his Lord, the more secure he will feel on the Day of Resurrection.
