Unfortunately yes, this is what they do. .. there was more people out there claiming to be Prophets and gods and etc. .. the main problem lies here is all of them

1. dont qiestion about superstitious beliefs and myths .

2. dont ponder that if we are the creation (Human Beings) then the creator must be something else . Something that is different than us. and so all in some way or other are simply worshiping creation in some way


another great example of the false messiah is Mirza Gulham Ahmed who started ahmedi or qadiyani movement in india. who is actually known to be one of the Dajaals( False Prophet - Liar ) according to Muslim Scholars.
