Yet still the divine calls out from on top this mountain of life
And still in the knowledge of its impossibility never stop climbing these craggy peaks of life
Do not falter for a moment
The winds of this world freeze bones
Devils hew limbs, and the rocks of this life mar the hands and feet of all
A rock for every moment of desire, every word of the long tongue liar
A rock for every moment of anger, and every moment of greed
And yes even these are God's seed
Still the call goes out, ans glory is to those that not only climb but call
Waver not in the struggle to the lofty peek you have been orderd to
Perfection of intentions is the perfection of the soul, and the hands turn to dust
For it is mans pursuit of perfection that is his perfection
For man pursues nothing but out of love for it
And the lover is the only true believer
For the knowledgeable mind the mountain of life is no more than a mirage
The path does fade away
And left in its place is the love of the divine, the heart of the believer, and the voice of his Lord
Like a Sufi I pray as I stand under His stars
My hands exist no more though I raise them in supplication
My face exist no more though I turn it to the east and west
No my feet do not carry me around the Ka'aba
This is what the world calls me to believe
No it is my heart that carries me to the house of my Lord
