If you have read my posts lately I have been on a kick to remember our brothers and sisters who are detained. I have posted several threads on this issue. I received a letter from Dr. Sami Al-Arian who has been detained and is currently in the Northern Neck Regional Jail. I can not do justice in describing his case. I have to gain his permission to quote from his letter. When I received a letter written in pencil I knew it was a gift. All I can convey at this time is this man wrote nothing about his worries but his concern for Muslims. He is pleaing for young Muslims to unite. He is asking Muslims to think about future generations of Muslims.
I pray that I am able to reach one person who will write to a Muslim who is detained. WWW.cageprisoners.com has a list of names and addresses to write. A few lines to wish another Muslim salaam. I will write more on this subject and I pray InshaAllah that a few of you do write.
