NAZARETH, (PIC)-- Israeli foreign minister Tzipi Livni claimed that the international community shows understanding of the military operations waged by the Israeli occupation forces against the Gaza Strip, and understood the need for Israel to defend itself with all military means against Palestinian resistance.

She claimed, however, that Israeli premier Ehud Olmert would not embark on a major operation against Gaza for the time being, adding that he is waiting for a committee's report in this regard expected within the few coming weeks.

Meanwhile, Israeli information center for intelligence is waging a media campaign in conjunction with Israeli military aggressions against the Palestinian resistance factions at the pretext of firing rockets against Israeli settlement outposts in the vicinity of the Gaza Strip.

The Saudi Al-Sharq Al-Awsat newspaper reported that the Israeli center is circulating a letter (a summary of a report made by the center) to many countries in the world on the occasion of firing the first home made rocket on the Israeli settlement outposts seven years ago.

The letter admits that the Palestinian rockets, although primitive and overwhelming majority of which do not cause any harm, are very dangerous and affecting the lives of 190,000 Israeli citizens and made 3000 settlers leave the Sderot settlement, pointing out that the damage to the Palestinians is so far larger than the damage inflicted on Israelis.

Are those homemade missiles really more danger than all the hich tech military arsenal what USA has sended to Isreal every year? If yes, then Palestinians has to be the best engineers in this world!

So the world community has understood the need for Israel to defend itself with all military means because the people in Gaza want to be free and independent?

Love for the freedom and seeking independency seems to be the most danger matters in this world!

Unfortunately the world community seems to "understand" also this unjust economical siege against people in Gaza. Yesterday there died 39th victim for cancer because of lack of proper medication. Also she was denied travel outside for getting treatment by the order of IOF troops.

Yesterday there died 39th victim for cancer because of lack of proper medication. Also she was denied travel outside for getting treatment by the order of IOF troops.

Sorry; adding as the last post of mine, the 40th Palestinian victim of the siege died late Saturday in Khan Younis district, south of Gaza, due to deteriorating heart condition.

Medical sources said that 54-year-old Subhi Abu Rezk's health condition rapidly worsened lately after the IOA refused to allow him passage to receive treatment abroad.

Thank you "the world community" so much for all of this understanding!

Assalamu alaikum sister!

Supporting the cause of Palestinians and showing sympathy to their misery is unpopular.

People don't usually take the side of the weak, poor and oppressed ones.
This is not only true for governments, but individuals too.

I see very few replies to the posts regarding Palestine even from our muslim brothers and sisters.

May the help and support of Allah s.w.t be with our Palestinian brothers and sisters. Ameen

Wassalamu alaike

:salam2:

I might know quite good reasons for firing those rockects/missiles, whose mostly are not firing by Hamas but Al-Quds Brigades (military wing of Islamic Jihad), al-Aqsa Martyrs Brigades (by Fatah) and some others. Also Hamas military wing has fired they rockets but they usually target them only to open areas as avoiding civil casualties or then to military posts.

The main reasons might be occupation what has continued from 1948, economical siege of the Gaza Strip, daily crimes against Palestinians´ human rights by Israeli army, like for example these ones (information comes from PCHR - Palestinian Centre for Human Rights):

8 Palestinians, including 3 civilians, were killed by IOF in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank.

5 of the victims were killed by IOF during an offensive against the southern Gaza Strip.

12 Palestinians were wounded by the IOF gunfire in the Gaza Strip, and 9 persons, including 5 journalists and an Israeli human rights defender, sustained bruises in the West Bank.

IOF conducted 22 incursions into Palestinian communities in the West Bank, invaded the south of the Gaza Strip and moved into its north.

IOF arrested 28 Palestinian civilians, including 4 children, in the West Bank and one in the Gaza Strip.

IOF razed 133 donums of agricultural land in Khan Yunis.

IOF transformed a number of houses into military sites.

IOF raided a number of media institutions in Nablus, confiscated equipment and closed one of them.

IOF have continued to impose a total siege on the OPT.

IOF have isolated the Gaza Strip from the outside world and a humanitarian crisis has emerged.

The number of patients who died due to the denial of their access to medical treatment increased to 15.

IOF troops positioned at checkpoints in the West Bank arrested 7 Palestinian civilians, including a child and a girl.

IOF have continued settlement activities in the West Bank and Israeli settlers have continued to attacks Palestinian civilians and property.

IOF demolished a house in Jerusalem.

Israeli settlers uprooted 32 olive trees in Hebron.

And Shalit... it is likely that he is not getting married before than those over 10 000 Palestinians, whose are in the prisons in Israel - against international laws. When they might get married then? Most of those Palestinians have kidnapped from they homes - Shalit abducted from the tank who was ready to fire at Palestinian civilians and at they homes.
