Love to meet Allaah




1719. Narrated ‘Ubaaba bin As-Saamit (radhi Allaahu anhu) : The Prophet (Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam) said,


Whoever loves to meet Allaah, Allaah (too) loves to meet him, and whoever hates to meet Allaah, Allaah (too) hates to meet him.
[Saheeh Al-Bukhaari, Hadeeth No. 514, Vol. 8]

It is authentically reported that `Aishah (may Allah be pleased with her) narrated that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said:


“He who loves meeting Allah, Allah will love to meet him, and he who dislikes to meet Allah, Allah dislikes to meet him.” I (‘A’ishah) said: “Allah’s Messenger, as for death, we all hate it.” Thereupon he (the Prophet) said: “It is not that (which you construe), but (this) that when a believer (at the time of death) is given the glad tidings of the mercy of Allah, His Pleasure, and of paradise, he longs to meet Allah, and Allah also loves to meet him; and when a Kafir (disbeliever/non-Muslim) is given the news of the torment and hardship which he is going to face at the Hand of Allah, he abhors to meet Allah and Allah also hates meeting him.

It is reported that Allah will ask the people of Paradise, if they desire anything and they will reply what more can we want, we have Paradise! Allah will then lift his veil and the people of Paradise will see Allah's face and it will be the most beautiful thing they have ever seen and the happiest moment they ever experienced!

All that is on earth will perish; But will abide (forever) the Face of thy Lord full of Majesty Bounty and Honor. [55: 26-27]

May ALLAH [swt] grant us this Privilege and Honor, Ameen Ya Rabb as samawat wal Ard
