Yes they are soothing, however, there are many other recitors out there. Although they are not my favourites, the top 5 Qari's according to a You tube video are

1) Saad Al Ghamadi
2) Mishary
3) Abdul Basit
4) Shuraim
5) Sudais

where number one is the best.. so yeah.. I personally like Abdul Basit's and Mishary's voice out of the five. I personally do not agree with the evaluation that these top 5 qari's were based on because they have totally excluded Fahd Al Kanderi.. and he has a beautiful voice. And also they have put Saad Al Ghamadi as the number one recitor of the world..which i wouldnt really agree with.. because personally i do not think he is the very BEST.. But i think there are upgraded versions of the BEST 5 Qari's so not to worry..
