As-Salaam alaikum,
According to the Noble Prophet Muhammad, Sallallahu alaihi Wasallam, all that is contained in the revealed Books is summed in the the Surat Fatiha (The Opening One), while this is in its turn contained in the formula BISMILLAHI-R-RAHMANI-RAHIM (In the Name of Allah, the Compassionate, the Merciful).
The Fatiha constitutes the chief text of the ritual prayer, as for the formula, commonly called the 'Basmala, it is the formula of consecration pronounced before every sacred recitation and every ritual act. Infact, the BASMALA is known to contain so many merits and benefits, announced by the Messenger of Allah, Sallallahu alaihi Wasallam, and other prominent 'Ulama, that we stand to gain from... materially, spiritually and in many more respects.
