MONTHLY PERIOD & FASTING DAYS TO COMPETE

As-salaam Alaikum,

Dear brothers and sis,

Friend of my wife dosn't want to complete her fasting days which was left due to her monthly period.

I need to show her some evidence from Quran/Hadith that she must complete the remaing days which she did not fast.

I need your help to find some evidence.

I been looking for a fatwa last half an hour,and couldnt find anything exactly on this subject .

i wanted to add that the period of fasting the days she or he werent able to fast during ramadan can be done in any time of the year ...aisha radia allahu ta3ala anha said she even fasted the days (she couldnt fast in ramadan becaus of her menses) untill chaa3ban of the next ramadan the year after,

inshallah there is enough time to get closer to allah azza wajall by performing these deeds.
also i recommend that all of us inshallah fast the 6 days of chawall ..the month we are in right now..the month will end on the 29th if im not mistaken.

every day of chawall we fast will distance us 70 years away from hell inshallah..
