What are Muslim countries doing to raise environmental awareness in regards to the seas/oceans/bodies of water in the Muslim world, deforestration in the Muslim world, expansion of deserts in the Muslim world, greenhouse gases in the Muslim world, and air quality in the Muslim world?

I thought we all share the same world. should we be working together to sort out the problems we make for our planet, or do we leave it for our children or our children's children to sort out. By then it may be too late.

I find it upsetting to see rubbish discarded in the streets in many Muslim countries and it is such a little thing that every person can do to dispose of their rubbish responsibly.

Which countries in particular are you talking about? And have you been there to see it?

Tunisa, Morocco, Algeria and Turkey are in my experience have big problem with discarded litter. Not so much cities but country areas are poor, even when bins are provided they are not always used.

I was thinking it would be good way for offenders to serve the community by clearing up the streets instead of being locked up all the time. Maybe they do in some places but I did not see it during the time I lived there.

Honestly I don't know how that would be possible when almost half of the population suffers from hunger in some places...it could be due to greed but it's still there.

But yes these are things that some Muslims countries have fallen behind in. This earth and everything it contains has haqq over us. May Allaah aid us all in bettering the situation of our hearts as well us our surrounding.
