What is happening in Iraq,Palestine and Pakistan is sufficient to prove that Muslims have lost their mind and the courage to forgive and leave things for a while for Allah (swt). The first addressee of the Quran were no better than the Arabs fighting and killing each other in Iraq today. However Islam changed them All. Is there any any message required to bring peace today? Do we require another messenger? Can we take pride in being the followers of seal of messenegers?
Look how easier it is to get Muslims kill each other. This has become possible due to our differences on matters of aqida and faith. We profess our faith with the conviction that others are doomed and deserved to be punished by us. Our aqida has made us the sole claimant of Jannah and we do not want others to share it with us. We have forgotten that it is Allah (swt) who will decide, not us.
If continued like this, there seems to be no chance of recovery and all of us look destined to annihilation. The only option is to follow the western values of (not really) of tolerance and accommodation. We know the differences of opinion our different groups have. Therefore instead of swearing against each other in public we should be either propagating our aqida peacefully, praying for others who do not follow the same path or perhaps curse those who revile us BUT no violence at any cost. If true aqida has some significance with it then it will definitly show up in the form of propserity and peace in a community, be it Shia or Sunni. For Allah (swt) says that His righteous servants will inherit the earth.(21:105) And whatever wrong happens to them is a result of their misdeeds as Allah (swt) says addressing Iblis that: "For over My servants no authority shalt thou have except such as put themselves in the wrong and follow thee." (15:42). So any where if a particuar sect is under the rule of another, instead of fighting between them they should consider that there is some thing wrong with their aqida and they need to amend it with good deeds. That is if they are right then due to the displeasure of Allah (swt) they are under subjugation of another and things will not change simply by fighting and it has to have the blessings of righteous deeds and creed.
It easier said then done but at least it is expected to give some respite to the ummah and will not make it a tool in the hands of our enemies. For once we declare that whatever be the differences we are not going to kill each other and leave the matter to Allah (swt) and firmly stick to it then all the designs of the enemies of Islam and muslims will fail. Otherwise any body can make us kill each other in the name of aqida and we know how easier it is. May Allah (swt) grant the wisdom to the Ummah of his beloved Prophet (saws) (Ameen)
