Muslim Parents Also Act As First Quran Teacher To Their Young Ones

In Muslim societies, the role of parents is much more effective, respectable, and honorable, as compared to their role in majority of western cultures. In fact, in most of western cultures, the role and influence of parents’ in their children’s lives is confined merely to 18 years, and then almost all the children demand freedom from their parents.
In Muslims societies, however, the situation is quite opposite. Muslim parents have a highly central role in lives of their children, right from their birth to their death. In fact, a mother’s lap is considered to be the first learning institution of children. Parents feel proud in developing deep association with their children.
As a matter of fact, parents in Islamic societies serve to be their children’s first teachers as well, particularly playing well the role of Quran Teacher. Parents at home try to inculcate the love of Allah, His Prophet, and Holy Quran to their children ever since they start learning things.:mashallah::tti_sister:
