I remember when we on TTI, were bombarded with these so called "claiming they were muslim" and then posing questions to criticize the Quran.
There intention was clear and propagated on many sites. They wanted to confuse muslims about ayat in the Quran. Of course, when we are week in knowing about history and perspective of the Ayat, we failed in answering there grudge in some cases.
anyways 3 months later and a little patience, I found this brother, hifza Allah, who knows the Quran far better than me, bring the clarity to the ayat:

This may not be the case for brothers and sisters on TTI, as many clearly more knowledgeable than I.
