My EID IS LEAVING!!!

My Eid is Leaving!! My Eid is Leaving!!
I look outside my window at the pink with the blue emerging!
How did the day go by so fast?
Subhanallah will this Eid be my last?

Every Ramadan is a blessing and it's already gone,
And now here goes Eid with it's feasty fun.
Did I do all that I could?
Will I be able to keep up, as I should?

I pray Ya Allah lead me not astray,
Guide me to your Path until in my death bed I lay.
Grant me chance for another Eid,
Let me be able to do more good deed.

I've been able to do so much more this time around,
Let my Iman keep strong and sound.
Even when I pray I have to sigh,
Because my precious Eid says goodbye!

I will miss Ramadan more because of the way it helped me to reflect on what others do not have in sources of food and drink at their instant disposal as I have.
