My mom went for Umra. . .

الحمدلله على كل حال
Assalaamua'alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakaatuh,

Today, my mom and a few of my relatives departed from our place to Jeddah to perform their Umra. Alhamdulillah. May they depart and arrive safely, Ameen.

All this while, since I finished college, my mom made plans with me on when we'll go for Umra. Even for this Umra, we made plans, but it didnt turn out like how we planned. I was supposed to go along with them this time but seems like it is not my time yet. At first, undeniably, I felt shattered when I know I couldn't go due to the time for the Umra clashes with my class schedule and exams.

While pondering over everything, I told myself that maybe Allaah wants me to better up myself first in my faith and everything before it is time for me to go to The Holy Cities. At times when I imagine looking at the Kaabah, I'm sure that when I am to see the Kaabah for real, face-to-face, I will surely cry. Subhana Allaah. Thinking about everything that had happened, there is nothing more for me to say than. . . Alhamdulillah.

As of now, the responsibility to take care of the house and looking after my brother is on me. Which starts from today for 11 days.

Indeed, Allaah is the Best Planner.

I pray that to all my brothers and sisters out there, who have not yet given the opportunity to perform Umra or Haaj, inshaAllaah, someday, sometime, our time will come. The perfect time that Allaah has planned for us. Inshaa Allaah.

Mashallah dear sister for seeing your mother going to preform Umrah.I know dear sister that even if Allah did not planned for your to preform Umrah now, it is still great happiness for you that your mother can preform Ummrah Inshallah.

May Allah keep her well on her journey and accept all duas that she make during preforming Ummrah, and I pray that Allah call you as well to preform Hajj and Ummrah.

Please dear sister make dua for me as well but as well for all our Muslim brothers and sisters, that I can go some day to preform Hajj and Ummrah with my family, as I hope and pray to Allah "all my life" that I can see Makkah, Maddinah, and Kabbah and that Allah reward with with such a blessing that I can pray salah and do Tawah with so many Muslims, SubhanAllah.

Jazzak Allah khair dear sister for sharing your beautiful and happy news with us. :hijabi:

May Allah bless you and keep your beloved mother well and accept all her duas.

Awww, Mubarak! Inshallah I know she'll have an amazing time!

I've been DYING to go this year as well. I've gone for my umrah before and subhanAllah what an experience! I cannot WAIT to go back! I'm hoping to do so this summer but because of the mahram issue I have to wait until one of them is ready to go.

Dear sister, remain steadfast. Please remember that it is all in Allah's hands. He WILL fulfill your desire to go inshAllah. I've actually been in a similar predicament and I know the pain a Muslim feels at not getting the chance to stand before the House of your Lord while everyone else around you is doing so. But please remember the power of dua. It works wonders and will truly surprise you. Inshallah when you do go, it will be better than you ever imagined. And yes, you will cry when you see the Ka'aba. :)

I'm not giving up though! I've told my mother that I WILL go this year inshAllah. Who knows? Maybe I'll see you there as well ;)

Dearest sister,
It not about you are not better in your faith
and everything that you think it is,
remember it just isn't time yet.

Don't Passing Judgement it will lead to misleading
and Satan(Shaithan) will takes the oppurtunity in wild thinking.
Think positive and kindly about yourself.

If you isn't better the urge of going to makkah didn't come as a pressure.
That is a sign of good and healthy iman~:ma:

When the right time comes
you'll be there insyallah.

Jazaaki Allaahu khaayr Sister. Ameen ala' duaaki.

Well, of all the things that happened in life, I tend to think and ponder about it. Be it small or big, good or bad. Why? This hadeeth explains it:

“Wondrous are the believer’s affairs. For him there is good in all his affairs, and this is so only for the believer. When something pleasing happens to him, he is grateful, and that is good for him; and when something displeasing happens to him, he is patient, and that is good for him” (Muslim).

So, no, I don't think I'm being too hard on myself or that I'm having thoughts that'll lead me to astray (wa iyathobillah) but I am just trying to take the virtues (hikmaah) of everything that happened. Blessings in disguise, as they say it, right? :)

Assalamualaikum.

Sister she didn't do anything wrong, I think you got misunderstood. :)

:ma:
Ofcourse she didn't :)
and i didn't misunderstood her my first reply even said so,
but when she reply back i have to stress out what was actually she try to figure???
When she mentioned it as 'faith'/iman!
it's a big word not to play with.

But ofcourse ;
she use the wrong word picturing her situasion
that's the reason i ask her to stop pondering.

After this whatever it is i respect
whatever one thinks it is.
Thank you.

Ukht, I think you're still very much confused. There was nothing offensive about her using that word. You seem to have misunderstood her usage of the word. Perhaps you could ask for clarification next time.
