Aisya al-Humaira
الحمدلله على كل حال
Assalaamua'alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakaatuh,
Today, my mom and a few of my relatives departed from our place to Jeddah to perform their Umra. Alhamdulillah. May they depart and arrive safely, Ameen.
All this while, since I finished college, my mom made plans with me on when we'll go for Umra. Even for this Umra, we made plans, but it didnt turn out like how we planned. I was supposed to go along with them this time but seems like it is not my time yet. At first, undeniably, I felt shattered when I know I couldn't go due to the time for the Umra clashes with my class schedule and exams.
While pondering over everything, I told myself that maybe Allaah wants me to better up myself first in my faith and everything before it is time for me to go to The Holy Cities. At times when I imagine looking at the Kaabah, I'm sure that when I am to see the Kaabah for real, face-to-face, I will surely cry. Subhana Allaah. Thinking about everything that had happened, there is nothing more for me to say than. . . Alhamdulillah.
As of now, the responsibility to take care of the house and looking after my brother is on me. Which starts from today for 11 days.
Indeed, Allaah is the Best Planner.
I pray that to all my brothers and sisters out there, who have not yet given the opportunity to perform Umra or Haaj, inshaAllaah, someday, sometime, our time will come. The perfect time that Allaah has planned for us. Inshaa Allaah.
