Assalam walaikum. I knew that the meaning my name PARISA is "angelic face" and it's a Persian word. But last week, one of my relative told me that the name meant something really bad in arabic. Now I am really confused about my name and thinking of changing it.

It would be a great help for me anybody could provide me the meaning of my name and its origin.

I don't think your name means anything bad in Arabic Parisa is a beautiful name I don't think you should change it
to me sounds like Paris--A---France

Don't you believe it! There is no "P" in Arabic! Your relative is either making a practical joke or an early April's Fool. I did a little research and found that the name Parisa also means spritely like a fairy. Its origin is Farsi.
