Assalamu alaikom, I do listen to Native Deen and from what I understand (and this is my uneducated opinion and just that) as they sing religious songs about Islam and Dawa, heart intentions for Allah, etc., that there is nothing wrong with it. Also, they do not use musical instruments that are haram to the best of my knowledge.... I think they use a type of drum which is quite commonly used in Muslim countries like Morocco for religious music.
A couple of years ago, Native Deen provided Islamic Music after an all-day Islamic conference by MAS (Muslim American Society) and my six year old loved it! There is another similar style group now that I am researching (medical students, I believe) possibly called 3LM that are being promoted by MAS also.
