On the Passing of Shaykh, Dr. Saleh as-Saleh

This is quite late to post, but I found out today and thought I should inform you all.

Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi rajioon. May Allah mercy on the Sheikh and grant him al-Firdaus. Ameen. :tti_sister:

Sheikh Dr. Saleh as-Saleh, may Allaah have mercy on him, passed away on Friday, 2nd Safar 1429 AH corresponding to February 8th 2008. He fainted whilst leaving Al-Masjid Al-Nabawee after attending the Salatul-Jumu'aah and died on the way to the hospital. The Janaazah prayer was held in Al-Masjid Al-Nabawee on 3rd Safar 1429 AH corresponding to February 9th, 2008. He was buried in alBaqee'

The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alayhi wa Sallam) said:

“Amongst the portents of the Hour are (the following}:
1. (Religious) knowledge will be take away (by the death of religious learned men)
2. Ignorance (of religion) will prevail.
3. Drinking of alcoholic drinks (will be very common)
4. There will be prevalence of open illegal intercourse.
(Al-Bukhari and Muslim)

Asalaamu alakum, naam he did pass away a couple of weeks ago, and my heart was crushed. I didnt take any of his classes but on another group im on they spoke very highly of him. May Allah have mercy on him.

I have witnessed recently many pious people have passed within 3-4 months.
