As-salaamu'Alaykum wa'Rahmatullaah,
Brother, anything in relation to worship and supplications we make sure that we take from the Qur'aan and the authentic Sunnah. This is because if we do something that is not from the Qur'aan and the authentic Sunnah, such as saying that this Du'a' will bring such and such benefit with no proof whatsoever, then this is an innovation.
I refer you to the ruling below by Shaykh Saalih al-Fawzaan about the danger of innovations,

And the great statement of Imam Maalik (rahimahullaah),
This is what Imam Maalik rahimahullaah pointed out in his famous statement etched in gold he said:
'Whoever invents in Islam a bid'a (innovation) and considers it hasanah (good), then he has assumed that Muhammad
betrayed the message. Read Allah's, Blessed and Exalted be He,
"This day I have perfected your religion for you and completed my favours upon you and I'm pleased with Islam as your religion.'"
Thus, whatsoever was not on that day part of the Religion cannot today become part of the Religion. And nothing will reform the latter generation of his Ummah except what reformed its earlier generation.'
Insha'Allaah, try and refer to the Qur'aan and authentic hadeeth that will be of much more benefit, for example, refer to the book Riyaad-us-Saaliheen Volume 1 and 2 by an-Nawawi which is Masha'Allaah available in English and Urdu (and Insha'Allaah other languages too) which contains much benefit. You should be able to purchase it from any good bookstore and then you can spread the great benefit in that book being sure that it is authentic, safe and from the Sunnah of the Prophet
