Placing advertisement in masjid

I am a college student looking for a part time job. I think I can do some tutoring and I plan to place a flyer in a nearby masjid. Has anyone had experiences advertising in a masjid? I will ask the imam's permission before putting it up. Any tips to get maximum effect?

I haven't done that , but maybe make ur signs nice and professional looking. Make it clear where u will tutor... Mybe in the masjid itself.. People will feel secure. Leave as many form of contacts ad possible like email and phone number etc etc people have various ways of contacting others. Be upfront with the main objectives people won't feel like your hiding something (not that u are) !
