TEKU RAJSKI POTOCI

Teku rajski potoci
Allah Allah zboreci
Din bulbuli izasli-Allah
Allah, Allah pojeci

Tube s grane svijaju
Kur'an uce ne staju
A ruzice dzennetske-Allah
Allah, Allah mirisu

Lica sjajnog k'o mjesec
Rijeci slatke k'o sece
U dzennetu hurije-Allah
Allah, Allah secu se

Sve od svjetla direci
Od nura im listovi
Cim mladica izmili-Allah
Alah. Allah prozbori

Ridvan cuvar kapije
Raj odjecu sta sije
Kesver vrelo k'o pije-Allah
Allah, Allah sretan je

YA MUSTAFA

Ako mogu ubit'tebe, tvoje knjige nece moci,
Ya Mustafa, rana zvijezdo duge noci,

Sarajevo, nijemo strijepi crni dan;
Odvedose nam Mustafu u zindan
Kopa mezar, brise celo ledeno
Sta ce biti sa Islama voljenog?

Jos I jedanput grad pogleda bijeli,
Bistrim okom sve munare izgrli,
Pucali su preko prsa cafiri,
Rujni sabah sarajevski zamiri,

Noc je prosla propali su zlotvori,
Pocrkali manji neg se rodili,
svako pita gdje je mezar Mustafin,
Nad Saraj' vom sehid bdije uceni.

thanks a lot in advance those who help...

Ya Mustafa

If they can kill you, your books they can't,
Ya Mustafa, early star of the long night

Sarayewo, muted wait on black day,
They took away our Mustafa in prison
digging grave, wiping his cold forehead
What is going to happen with lovely Islam?

He looked one more time at the white city
With his clear eyes all minarets hugged,
The kafeers were shooting over him,
Breezy sarayewo at fajr was quet,

The night passed and eveldouers plunged
they chocked smaler then when they were born
everybody asks where is Mustafas grave
He is shehid looking over Sarayewo

This is hard to translate because of the old words used in text, maybe somebody else can try:)

I agree with brother GAZIJA, translating poems from bosnian to other languages is difficult. Old words (usually borrowed from turkish, persian or arabic) are problem. Also another problem is verse structure used in poems. BTW translation from GAZIJA is excellent.

My english is not good, but I'll try to translate another to get you know what the text is about.

-----------------------------
Jannah (paradise) rivers flow

Jannah rivers flow
saying "Allah, Allah"
Deen flowers comes out - Allah
Allah, Allah (I'm not sure about word "pojeci" I think it means "give to drink")

Tubas shining from boughs (there is a typing error here, instead of word "svijati" which means bend, it should be "sijati" which means shine or glow)
Reciting Qur'an without stop
And Jannah flowers - Allah, Allah, Allah,
smells beautifull

With face like a shiny moon
and words sweet like a sugar (another mistake here, instead of "sece", it sould be "secer" which means sugar)
In Jannah, huriyah (womans in paradise) - Allah, Allah, Allah
they walking.

*!*!*!*!*!*!*!*!*!*!*!*! (this verse doesn't exist in the song, but I'll try to translate)
All pillars made from light
and their leafs made from nur (light)
When scion comes out - Allah, Allah
Allah said
*!*!*!*!*!*!*!*!*!*!*!*!

Ridvan, the gate guardian.
Ray which sew (or make) clothes
Who drinks Kewser spring - Allah, Allah, Allah
he is the one who is happy

-------------- END ------------------

I'm native bosnian speaker, but honestly... I'm confused while reading texts like this one. I know the meaning of every word but I'm not clear with the meaning of verses and song at all.

Ya Mustafa is nice song. It's sententious. I like it. Its about murder of Mustafa Busuladzic, who was killed by communists in 1945. Guess why.

If you want you can download this two songs from internet in MP3 format. "Ya Mustafa" is performed by popular bosnian singer Aziz Alili.
