Polygany...living in the same house???

I was just wondering if both wives can live in the same house in a marriage based on polygany?? I have not read anything on it, but my brother says it is possible provided there are seperate apartments, and NOT in the same house. For example a two family house, with a completely seperate apartment for the other wife, and not together. Can anyone clarify this for me inshallah? :blackhijab:

I believe it is possible. I have heard of a religious leader who have both wives under one roof BUT on separate levels. The first wife can even care for the 2nd wife's children, just like her own. MasyaAllah. Only Allah s.w.t. knows the truth.

I also met & spoke to one 'Strong' woman, very nice woman. I called her strong because she let her husband marry one more and she even go to the extend of collecting umrah tickets for their HONEYMOON ! :ma: I salute her !
