Praying with closed eyes !!

Salamu alaykum,

I was reading a book by Shaykh nasruddeen Al-albani rahimehullah called salaatun nabbiyy, and it is mention that praying with eyes should not be done. However, i didnt come around a proof from Quran and sunnah. With all respect to shaykh Al-Albani, may Allah s.v.a reward him. I love him for the sake of Allah. Anyone know any proofs from Quran and sunna? That would be beneficial. Barrakallah Feekum.

Bukhari. We are Allah's slaves. When we pray we are in the presence of Allah at this present time. We are thus being accountable. The selection of Salat in the first volume of Bukhari should be a good starting point.
