Problem with quick replying

I've noticed that when I reply in the Quick reply box, as I'm typing there's a lot of lag and the text takes some time to appear, and then this gets really annoying when I press backspace, because then the lag gets even worse.

There doesn't seem to be any lag when making a new thread (or probably when you "Go advanced" but the Quick reply feature definitely has lag).

And it gets worse when your reply keeps getting longer and longer.

Any way to smoothen out this system?

Lag in the text box for quick reply? That would be a client side issue, not server problem. Which browser are you using?

( recommend latest Safari, Chrome, Firefox )

I'm using Internet Explorer, so maybe that's why. I noticed though that it only happens when I'm quoting a reply, like for instance, now it's not lagging when I'm not quoting anything.

But it's not that serious of a problem, to be honest.
