Purification of souls

Islam teaches a very efficient beautiful strategy to purify the world, it starts with each individual as Imam Ibn Al-Qayyim taught. It starts from within human soul , when love of Allah : the loving merciful creator , hope of Janna , fear of hell full hearts then this strategy begins :

Stand firm against evil thoughts, for if you fail to do so, they will become ideas, if you do not, they will become desires, so fight against them. If you do not, they will become a form of determination and intention, if you do not resist, they will become actions, and if you do not follow them up with their opposite, they will become habits that will be hard to quit.

Islam teaches people how to cut the roots of evil from within...then extends to the whole society with pure will and good deed .

The starting point of purification when humans know their creator and turn to him with sincerity:

47:19

Sahih International
So know, [O Muhammad], that there is no deity except Allah and ask forgiveness for your sin and for the believing men and believing women. And Allah knows of your movement and your resting place.

39:2

Sahih International
Indeed, We have sent down to you the Book, [O Muhammad], in truth. So worship Allah , [being] sincere to Him in religion.

Then each Muslim should ponder in this hadith:

Abu Huraira reported Allah's Messenger (salla Allah alaihi wa sallam) as saying: Verily Allah does not look to your faces and your wealth but He looks to your heart and to your deeds.

The hearts need purification and deeds should be good ......

And whoever purifies himself only purifies himself for [the benefit of] his soul.:

35:18

Sahih International
And no bearer of burdens will bear the burden of another. And if a heavily laden soul calls [another] to [carry some of] its load, nothing of it will be carried, even if he should be a close relative. You can only warn those who fear their Lord unseen and have established prayer. And whoever purifies himself only purifies himself for [the benefit of] his soul. And to Allah is the [final] destination.
