Jazzak Allah khair dear sister for your intentions, but it is not good that we post some Christian article and their view of " prayer" because as Muslims we know that Alhamdulilah Dua has its rulling as well by Islam and that Dua is correct only how is in accoradinace with Quran and Sunnah.
And Allah subhanhu wa teala know the best.
