Question about Where I should live

Assalam Alaikum

I accidently posted this as a reply on Islamphobia so I am moving it to a new thread sorry about the mistake.




Assalam Alaikum,

I just wanted to ask if you knew where any halal places where I could move?? I live in the US I don't have much money I have heard that there is a large population of muslims in Texas Would that be considered Halal if I move there. Every where here seems to be surronded in Haram. May Allah bless you for your patience and thank you for any information that you could give me.

I don't know if a "halal place" can be found...unfortunately haram is everywhere...and I really mean EVERYWHERE...even in the lands of Muslims...perhaps the only thing you can manage to find is a place where there is a *larger* Muslim community..that has itself established in a place (i.e. they have markets..schools..masjids..etc.)..so you may have access to more elements which will help you in leading an Islamic life...

But in reality...you cannot escape the haram...it is like a necklace..Shaitan carries it and runs behind you...attempting to lock it around your neck at every chance he can get...all you can do is try your utmost best to remain steadfast in your Iman and your practice of Islam...rely on Allah (swt)..and be aware of all that is halal and that is haram equally...so you may have better control over judgements...

and from Allah comes protection..mercy..and success

:salam2: salaam i agree with the sister who rote above haram has spread to every corner of the earth but wat i wud suggest is do istikhara inshaAllah and rely upon Allah to show you wich place to move believe and it'll work out inshaAllah personally i live in London and i can tell u the condition of muslims here if u want to know and ther are sooo many other brothers and sisters that can describe the situation of muslims in their place if u ask around u can decyd once u gather the info inshaAllah

I live in Michigan, there is a lot of organizations or mosques here the only problem is the city of Detroit is very bad in finding good jobs. I would suggest look into whether is a mosque or where you can organize in a community to make dawaa. According to a imam in my area, it is necessary and very essential to make dawaa to justify living here. I am guilty for not striving to fulfill this deed in the past. However, alhamdillah I am becoming better. Seriously just by going to the mosque I run into so many opportunities to accomplish more of this important deed. same thang is happening to me too I live in a city where I'm surrounded all around by non-muslims;we got only one masjid here and few people come to at the masjid.I'm managing to move out of here too
